This is one of the most musical obscure instrument demos I've seen on youtube, and I watch a lot of them.

Домра, конечно, русский инструмент. Но здесь применяется техника блюграсс-банджо, и домра становится как бы банджолеле! 🙂 Обычно на домре играют медиатором. Строй у 4-струнной домры, как у скрипки, мандолины, 4-струнного банджо. Собственно, она была создана как раз для освоения скрипичного репертуара! И кстати, именно 4-струнная домра (разработанная русскими музыкантами в 1909 году) исторически распространилась в Белоруссии и Украине, в России же применяется редко. Вот такой парадокс. Спасибо, вы заставили меня узнать про этот инструмент!

Loved your music for many years. This has been a favorite I return to often. Ironically, I always assumed it was another song called Clock, which is by Mila Jovovich. Now I just figured out it is the Coldplay song, lol. Please, please check out Mila's song. It would delight me and many of my friends if you played a version of her song. I met Emmett at the NAMM show in Anaheim in the 80's. He had the smallest size booth at the exhibition (10X10) but the music coming from it, and the interest, and the gathering of famous players (watching) was amazing................................nice upload.....so glad to have found this...............love that last note..........Goodbye E.C..........we didn't really appreciate or deserve your brilliance.....but the world is a better place as a result............
